Hip hop has been prominently featured in almost every music show, radio station, lifestyle magazine, and even fast food commercial for its heavy use of catchy rap verses, infectious grooves, beats and melodies, and unimaginable numbers of money and girls. However, even with the common characteristics of all these artists, there are only a handful of them who deserve to be considered some of the biggest names in the said genre. Who are those artists that require the recognition that they truly deserve?

Dr. Dre, also known as Andre Romelle Young, is a world-famous producer, rapper and recording executive that has received universal recognition for his contributions in this certain field of music. Another artist that has inexplicably earned worldwide recognition in the world of hip hop is an artist known as Jay-Z. Shawn Corey Carter is a professional when it comes to rapping in a well-directed flow. He makes use of a style called partial linking in order to include consecutive rhymes in just a single line, as well as a style that makes use of rests in order to wholly complete his lines.
